ChiliProject is not maintained anymore. Please be advised that there will be no more updates.

We do not recommend that you setup new ChiliProject instances and we urge all existing users to migrate their data to a maintained system, e.g. Redmine. We will provide a migration script later. In the meantime, you can use the instructions by Christian Daehn.

ChiliProject and cPanel 11.30

Added by Devin Frazier at 2012-01-21 06:13 am

Hello all! After attempting to get Redmine running on my cPanel server (and failing) I decided to give ChiliProject a go after I found it.

Anyways, everything seems to work if I disable my firewall and go to domain.com:12009, but if I go to the rewrite I created for it, my browser just tried to download any file from ChiliProject as a text file or httpd/unix-directory.

I'm thinking this could be more of a cPanel error, but I thought I give a go over here to see if anyone has any info on what I can do.
Here is the link to my cPanel post: http://forums.cpanel.net/f5/rails-app-rewrite-not-working-253482.html

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I know cPanel only by name (I'm not even sure what it all can and can't do…), sorry.

Thank you for your reply!

I actually just got a reply from the cPanel forum with a fix on how and why it wasn't working properly.

The solution can be found here: http://forums.cpanel.net/f145/mod_rails-passenger-instead-mongrel-rails-3-support-case-44197-a-152577.html#post822021
