ChiliProject is not maintained anymore. Please be advised that there will be no more updates.

We do not recommend that you setup new ChiliProject instances and we urge all existing users to migrate their data to a maintained system, e.g. Redmine. We will provide a migration script later. In the meantime, you can use the instructions by Christian Daehn.

Assigned To and Related Issues

Added by Joe Ersinghaus at 2012-02-24 09:02 pm

Hi All,

Just installed ChiliProject and it looks great.

In the past I've used an older version of Redmine (version 0.9 or there about) and we made use of two nice features in that version that don't appear to exist in this version of ChiliProject: Assigned To and Related Issues drop downs.

Are these no longer in the main feature set or have I not configured Chili correctly?

Thanks,
Joe

Well, the "assigned to" field has been renamed to "assignee", "related issues" are there too, you'll need the "Manage issue relations" permission for that, make sure the permissions and roles of your users are set accordingly.

I've got users with the Manager and Developer roles and under Admin=>Roles=>Manager, Admin=>Roles=>Developer, "Manage issue relations" is checked. Is there another spot where "Related Issues" needs to be mapped to "Manage issue relations"?

That's all that should be needed, on #902 for example, and after clicking "add" directly to the right of "related issues", I see:
