ChiliProject is not maintained anymore. Please be advised that there will be no more updates.

We do not recommend that you setup new ChiliProject instances and we urge all existing users to migrate their data to a maintained system, e.g. Redmine. We will provide a migration script later. In the meantime, you can use the instructions by Christian Daehn.

Instructions for Installing on Windows (IIS)?

Added by Lola Lee Beno at 2011-05-17 02:32 pm

My programmer has been trying to install Redmine, with no success at all. So, I thought about trying ChiliProject but when I go to the page with the install instructions, there's nothing for the Windows page. Has anyone attempted to install it on a Windows (IIS) server? Please note that I know next to nothing about Ruby/RoR. Thanks!

Unfortunately none of us regulars use windows, so we may not be a lot of help, however the redmine windows guide should work with chiliproject just fine. If you give us specific data and error messages we can do our best to help you :)

Thanks for the feedback! Ultimately, I was able to use the BitNami Redmine stack and get it up and running as we really needed an issue tracker up and running ASAP and didn't have the time to figure out how to get Ruby/RoR working on our server (we're using another programming language).

I would like to suggest, that when ChiliProject is well-established, you consider submitting a package to Redmine. I'll still be trying it out on my personal home server (which has Ubuntu).
