How to turn off IRC 6667 chat.freenode.net requests from ChiliProject

Added by Francisco Marin at 2011-06-23 06:55 pm

Hi,
I've just installed RC3 and it's trying to connect to this IRC channel, it ended up filling up our firewall logs and crashed the machine. I can't find any documentation on how to turn it off.

There isn't any code inside of ChiliProject concerning IRC whatsoever. Can you provide any logfiles for what you observe? Also, please provide the info requested from the Contribute page.

If your observed behavior does actually stem from around ChiliProject I'm 100% sure that it must be a plugin you installed. As I said, the core ChiliProject doesn't include anything IRC related.

I've installed 4 plugins all from r-labs, I'll meet with the IT people tomorrow and get more details.
Plugins:
  • Code Review
  • Logs
  • User Properties
  • Wiki Extensions
