ChiliProject is not maintained anymore. Please be advised that there will be no more updates.

We do not recommend that you setup new ChiliProject instances and we urge all existing users to migrate their data to a maintained system, e.g. Redmine. We will provide a migration script later. In the meantime, you can use the instructions by Christian Daehn.

ChilliProject 2.1.1 vs Redmine 1.2.1

Added by Gabriel Mazetto at 2011-08-03 08:17 pm

How different is ChiliProject 2.1.1 comparing to Redmine 1.2.1?
Can I consider that ChiliProject is a better "Redmine 1.2.1" (like it contains all features + Chili improviments)?
I think this type of information could be more clear on the website, as there will always be some sort of comparison between both projects as Chili is a fork of Redmine.

Also this type of information can speedup users conversion.

Althought I agree, some clarification could be put in place as Chiliproject is currently a fork which contains MOST (not all) of redmine's features. A current example: redmine allows user deletion, something which is not possible in Chiliproject at the moment.

You might want to participate in the issue #353.
