Taking a vacation from ChiliProject for a bit

Added by Eric Davis at 2011-08-16 10:28 pm

I wanted to let everyone know that I will be taking a vacation from working on ChiliProject. Some recent events have come up that I need to handle so I will be unable to volunteer my time for the next month or so.

Dear Eric,

I hope you and your loved ones are okay. If I can help you in any way to sort this out please don't hesitate to contact me or anyone from the community. Feel free to take off any time you need. Your health and well-being is much more important than anything happening here.

That said, I really appreciate your notice as it allows us to plan our activities accordingly. Assuming your consent, I will work with the other guys to take care of the scheduled releases and any important issues until your return.

Hoping everything's going to be okay,
Holger

I wanted to let everyone know that I'm back now. I'm still dealing with some big things so I won't be as active as before, but I'll put in some time here and there. I might not be able to code much but I'm more than happy to give my opinion of what "should" be done. ;)

I'd also like to thank everyone who filled in during my absence, especially Holger Just who managed the releases while I was gone.

Thanks

Eric Davis
