ChiliProject is not maintained anymore. Please be advised that there will be no more updates.

We do not recommend that you setup new ChiliProject instances and we urge all existing users to migrate their data to a maintained system, e.g. Redmine. We will provide a migration script later. In the meantime, you can use the instructions by Christian Daehn.

[Solved] Chiliproject and Apache2 install

Added by Dominique Couot at 2011-10-05 07:37 am

Hi,
New to the project, and Ruby, I am trying to get Chiliproject running properly.
Install was done on Ubuntu 10.04 server (x64) with and existing running apache2 server.
Although with a bit confusing manual, the program was finally installed and tested with WEBrick. It is there and works in test.
However no luck when trying to have it to integrate apache2. I tried both package and RVM install to no luck.
I elected the apache server setup with a subfolder http://mydomain/chiliproject to match my current setup of other applications.
But the only thing I am getting is the index of the folder. Nothing else.
I suppose I comes from the relation between chiliproject/passenger and apache but have no clue what to look for.
Thanks for your help,
Dom

I finally found the answer by following the Redmine installation process....
