ChiliProject is not maintained anymore. Please be advised that there will be no more updates.

We do not recommend that you setup new ChiliProject instances and we urge all existing users to migrate their data to a maintained system, e.g. Redmine. We will provide a migration script later. In the meantime, you can use the instructions by Christian Daehn.

Huge amount of connections in apache's log files

Added by g t at 2011-11-09 10:59 am

We are using chiliproject for managing our projects, but we are facing some troubles, when a page is open, it requests our server each minute:

..."POST /time_trackers/render_menu?project_id=9 HTTP/1.1" 200 1093 ...

Our server has some difficulties to support the huge amount of requests it faces.

What are these requests due to ?
Is there a way to disable this behaviour ?

This doesn't look like anything from core, do you have a time tracking plugin installed?

It looks like you have the redmine_time_tracker plugin installed. This plugin creates the requests and replies to it. This is something we can't do anything about as it is up the the plugin to handle its own stuff.

Please contact the plugin's author instead.
