ChiliProject is not maintained anymore. Please be advised that there will be no more updates.

We do not recommend that you setup new ChiliProject instances and we urge all existing users to migrate their data to a maintained system, e.g. Redmine. We will provide a migration script later. In the meantime, you can use the instructions by Christian Daehn.

Description

Sometimes I have a tab open to ChiliProject for many days (and potentially across browser restarts). This can result in a situation where the session cookie is no longer valid but the web page for an issue is showing.

You can press Update on the issue and get the Update box to appear, and you can write a long and detailed comment and then press Submit.

At this point you are redirected to the login page, fair enough. But after you successully login you are redirected back to the view page for the issue and the details you had entered in the update are lost.

It would be better if the redirect after login continued with the POST so that the changes are not lost.

If that is not possible it would be better if the cookie was checked when you press the Update button so that the prompt to login occurs before you spend time writing up the issue notes.
