We do not recommend that you setup new ChiliProject instances and we urge all existing users to migrate their data to a maintained system, e.g. Redmine. We will provide a migration script later. In the meantime, you can use the instructions by Christian Daehn.

Description
On Ubuntu, libxml2-dev is also required in addition to the already mentioned packages to build from source.

I guess the libxml2-dev dependency is for the mysql gem.
Unfortunately, we still have no distribution specific guides. So it's still kinda hard to gather the list of required dependency and source packages for the various compiled gems. We try to write some of the most used guides for the 1.1.0 — Bell release. See #187.
