Description

I just tried adding an html comment in a wiki text and it got escaped (the minus sign was transformed to <)

<!-- This is a comment -->

I also tried adding notextile tags, but the text is still escaped

<!-- This is also a comment -->

I've found this old redmine issue in which they fixed the problem for an old version of RedCloth. I was wondering whether that issue could be ported back to RedCloth3.rb .

Thanks!

You can grab this plugin and use the macros for adding HTML comments. Either this version for ChiliProject 1.x to 2.x or the current master for ChiliProject 3.0. It's what we use here to add hidden notes to pages.
