ChiliProject is not maintained anymore. Please be advised that there will be no more updates.

We do not recommend that you setup new ChiliProject instances and we urge all existing users to migrate their data to a maintained system, e.g. Redmine. We will provide a migration script later. In the meantime, you can use the instructions by Christian Daehn.

Reporting and tracking issues

Before reporting an issue, search or browse for any related information, and check the release notes. You may find a solution, workaround, upgrade or the same issue already reported — you can then track its progress.

The recommended process is:

  1. Search ChiliProject for any information related to the issue.
  2. If you don't find it, search again, with different words.
  3. Check the News page for the project, to make sure you have the latest version of the application.
  4. Still no luck? Then report the issue.

You don't want to waste a lot of time searching, but if the issue already exists there might be a solution — and you'll end up wasting time anyway when it comes back to you to verify that it's a duplicate. That's why two searches (and checking release notes) is a good idea.
