ChiliProject is not maintained anymore. Please be advised that there will be no more updates.

We do not recommend that you setup new ChiliProject instances and we urge all existing users to migrate their data to a maintained system, e.g. Redmine. We will provide a migration script later. In the meantime, you can use the instructions by Christian Daehn.

Updating an issue

TODO: Add Screenshots

After reporting an issue, you can update it with new information at any time. To update an issue:

  1. Search for, and display the issue.
  2. Click Update at top right.
    The Update page displays.

You can start the update with a quote in the Notes field from the issue description, or an existing update note, by clicking the Quote icon ( ) (instead of Update).
Click More to edit the Subject, Description, or Tracker.
  3. Add any new information — the same way as when you report an issue.
  4. Click Submit

You can also add comments to an issue by replying to an email notification from ChiliProject, without changing the Subject (which contains the issue number) — ChiliProject automatically updates the issue with your reply. Developers can also update issues (including status updates) using Commit keywords.
