ChiliProject is not maintained anymore. Please be advised that there will be no more updates.

We do not recommend that you setup new ChiliProject instances and we urge all existing users to migrate their data to a maintained system, e.g. Redmine. We will provide a migration script later. In the meantime, you can use the instructions by Christian Daehn.

Moved server and it's not working

Added by Richard Pinto at 2012-07-31 06:08 pm

Hi, I've paid for my chiliproject installation and configuration some months ago and it was working fine.
Yesterday I've moved to another host and now I can't access the installation, due to misconfiguration I guess. I ony get http://cloud.ricardopadua.com/ this.

Can anyone please tell me which file should I edit to set this server configuration? I'd like to set the incoming / outgoing emails working too.

If anyone is willing to do the job, I'll pay for that.

Thanks

You probably have to adapt your Webserver configuration. There are various ways to set up ChiliProject, so I can't give you an authoritative answer without knowing your exact environment.

However, the most common setup is using an Apache together with Phusion Passenger. It seems you just haven't installed it. Have a look at e.g. our Debian guide for installing it. The actual documentation of Passenger is also very good.

Thanks Holger. Unfortunately I have no idea about what you're telling me. I've asked my new host and they've pointed me this page, http://support.hostgator.com/articles/specialized-help/technical/how-do-i-start-using-ruby-on-rails . It doesn't help much since I've never worked with rails. Do you provide this service?
