ChiliProject is not maintained anymore. Please be advised that there will be no more updates.

We do not recommend that you setup new ChiliProject instances and we urge all existing users to migrate their data to a maintained system, e.g. Redmine. We will provide a migration script later. In the meantime, you can use the instructions by Christian Daehn.

Description

It would be useful to have a pair of rake tasks that (1) create a complete backup of the ChiliProject database, files and configuration; and (2) restore an archive into a new ChiliProject instance.

Especially for development purposes, it would be nice if the database backup is database independent so that data can be restored and tested on different databases for portability, etc..
