[Proposal] - 2.0.0 release name

How about jalapeno for the 2.0.0 release name? It's a warmer pepper and will fit with our plans of being more distinctive than Redmine in 2.0.

Sounds good. Other ones could be Cayenne or Habanero.

Measurement of the spicy heat of a chili pepper -- Scoville rating

I think if that scale is used than all future releases should be named after a well-known pepper and be hotter than the previous release.

Cayenne and habanero are probably too hot for a 2.0.0 release. Poblano is also another option as I think that's a pretty well known pepper (at least I see it all the time in the grocery store). But with 2.0.0 being 6 months away, and given that a decent amount of features are implemented, my vote would be for jalapeño.

I think if we are ramping up by heat 2.0 should be banana, poblano, pimento, cherry, or Anahiem.

Sounds sensible to me.

I like pimento too. It sounds spicy, but it still leaves plenty of room on the Scoville scale for future development. Best of both worlds :)

I feel compelled to offer the suggestion of "Refinery"

It shows a subtle nod to redmine as the projects original roots but providing a forward momentum. "Redmine gets refined"
Also a refinery implies a product is produced at the end while mining only provides the raw elements.

I also feel "Refinery" is original enough to allow it to be distinguished without much issue.

Grr... After doing a search I find an open source CMS already named Refinery. So much for that idea. :'(
