Input field Text formatting

Hello,

In chiliprojet the text formatting look very old fashioned and is not very user friendly for everyone.
I'm setting Chiliprojet in the company where i'm working, it will involve many different users in using this tool and updating issues, and i already got many feedbacks about this.
Is there a possibilty to set up any rich-text input like most of the forum do nowadays?

What you mean is a WYSIWYG text editor and there is none in the core. A WYSIWYG editor is not easy to combine with a markup-based backend and storage format, the recent addition of the support for liquid macros makes it even harder.

This can be done as a plugin though and I think there is/has been one for Redmine, I can't say how well it works though, you might want to have a look at the Plugin Compatibility page for that.
