ChiliProject is not maintained anymore. Please be advised that there will be no more updates.

We do not recommend that you setup new ChiliProject instances and we urge all existing users to migrate their data to a maintained system, e.g. Redmine. We will provide a migration script later. In the meantime, you can use the instructions by Christian Daehn.

Add watchers to issue via REST API

Added by David Prothero at 2013-01-31 05:10 pm

Redmine issue 6727 was just closed that implements the ability to manage the watchers list for an issue via the REST API.

Issue: http://www.redmine.org/issues/6727
Revision: http://www.redmine.org/projects/redmine/repository/revisions/11290

Not being plugged into the development team, I am wondering when/if we might expect this to be merged into ChiliProject?

Thanks.

David

UPDATE: Created #1220 to request this be merged in.

Short answer: not.

Longer answer: We do not "copy" the Redmine development nor do we just merge everything that happens there. Furthermore, we intend to overhaul the API, which would break the current API and thus the compatibility to the "Redmine 1.1 API", therefore we also currently don't spend much time around the API.

The current state of affairs is more or less: No work on the API, we'll consider pull requests from people with specific needs though.
