Using Apache and Chiliproject on Windows

Added by Chris Chen at 2013-08-15 07:15 am

Hi all, I was wondering whether anyone could provide guidance on how to set up Apache for Chiliproject in order to get a domain name other than "localhost". I have read the documentation regarding Apache and have tried multiple times (3 days worth of research and trial and error) to modify the httpd.conf / vhosts-httpd.conf to accept a domain other than localhost and have also modified my hosts file in C:/Windows/System32/Drivers/etc to no avail.

I have worked with another individual who had hosted his project on and was wondering how I could do something similar like host my projects on Instead, I can only access my Chiliproject through localhost:3000.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
