ChiliProject is not maintained anymore. Please be advised that there will be no more updates.

We do not recommend that you setup new ChiliProject instances and we urge all existing users to migrate their data to a maintained system, e.g. Redmine. We will provide a migration script later. In the meantime, you can use the instructions by Christian Daehn.

Using Apache and Chiliproject on Windows

Added by Chris Chen at 2013-08-15 07:15 am

Hi all, I was wondering whether anyone could provide guidance on how to set up Apache for Chiliproject in order to get a domain name other than "localhost". I have read the documentation regarding Apache and have tried multiple times (3 days worth of research and trial and error) to modify the httpd.conf / vhosts-httpd.conf to accept a domain other than localhost and have also modified my hosts file in C:/Windows/System32/Drivers/etc to no avail.

I have worked with another individual who had hosted his project on projects.ziggy471.com and was wondering how I could do something similar like host my projects on projects.hero.com. Instead, I can only access my Chiliproject through localhost:3000.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
