Issue whith git integration

Added by Tomas Hellberg at 2012-05-03 06:57 am

Hi all,
I'm trying to connect a GIT repo to my project and having trouble accessing it. All I get is "The entry or revision was not found in the repository.". Serching this forum (https://www.chiliproject.org/projects/chiliproject/wiki/HowTo_configure_ChiliProject_for_advanced_git_integration and https://www.chiliproject.org/boards/1/topics/858?r=869#message-869) (and googling) haven't helped me I'm afraid.

I'm tunning Chiliproject 3.01 an Mac OS 10.6. Chiliproject it self seems to work just fine, the trouble starts when I enter an address for my repo. The address I'm using is "/Library/WebServer/Private/test.git" repo created from an excising repo whith git clone --bare gitserver:test and the repo it self works but I'm not able to see the content. I have chmod the repo 777 just to be sure that thats not the problem.

Any help is good help.

Are there already commits in this repository? Which user does your ChiliProject run as? Does ChiliProject have access to a git binary (must be in the $PATH or stated explicitly in the ChiliProject config)?

Sorry to bother you.

I did a fresh install last night and now it works. I will try to understand why it didn't work. If I find out why I will share, maybe someone else do the same stupid mistake
