ChiliProject is not maintained anymore. Please be advised that there will be no more updates.

We do not recommend that you setup new ChiliProject instances and we urge all existing users to migrate their data to a maintained system, e.g. Redmine. We will provide a migration script later. In the meantime, you can use the instructions by Christian Daehn.

Redmine "Localizable" Plugin

Added by Joaquim Homrighausen at 2013-02-15 12:09 pm

Any chance of something like this making it into the core of Chili or someone porting it to the current level of Chili? Unfortunately, I'm not a Rails developer, so I can't be of much use helping out.

Maintaining statuses/strings/labels/names, etc in multiple languages is really nice considering the web/internet is about integrating people from all over the place and they often speak different languages :)

Hi Joaquim,

one of the devs started asking for localization tools/solution as discussion in the mailinglist:

https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgroups=#!topic/chiliproject-devel/w277w4NiyT4

So even if you aren't a Ruby/Rails dev, your opinion and tipps can help Felix & Co. to choose and start integrating the new localization solution.
Would be great if you just post your tipp/hint there, too - so Felix don't miss it.

ciao,
Chris
