We do not recommend that you setup new ChiliProject instances and we urge all existing users to migrate their data to a maintained system, e.g. Redmine. We will provide a migration script later. In the meantime, you can use the instructions by Christian Daehn.

ChiliProject developers - which text editor(s) or IDE(s) do you use and why? Also: config settings?

Prompted by this comment, I'm curious to know who among the ChiliProject developers uses which editor/IDE and why, and also which plugins or other customisations you use, if any.

If this has already been discussed, please feel free to give me a hyperlink; otherwise, I look forward to your answers below :)

Textmate and vim. Textmate with the usual ruby and rails bundles (or whatever they're called), vim stock. To be honest, I only care that my editor does syntax highlighting and column editing, automatic indentation is nice if it's there, and there are 1-2 macros I use in textmate, but that's all.

Emacs with a bunch of custom configuration that I've shared on github. It's a bit outdated but the Ruby/Rails stuff hasn't changed much.
