A task can only have zero or one direct parent tasks. However, this parent task can have another parent task. You can build a tree of tasks that way, but you can not create an arbitrary graph. This would be way to complicated, both from an implementation point of view but even more from a usability point of view. To mentally understand an arbitrary graph (and understanding its restrictions) is not to take lightly. It can be on the edge of understandability even today.

So no, I doubt we will ever introduce this.
