Description

I've used many different pieces of PM software and many have a "do not send a notification for this update" checkbox near the submit button. We need this for chiliproject.

How it works:

You change the status of an issue, your just closing the issue and you know everyone watching/associated w/ the issue doesn't want a notification so before you submit, you check the "do not send notification". No one gets there notifications because its un-needed.

when would we use this.

  • going back and fixing typo's
  • updating the status to complete when the client doesn't care.
  • bulk assigning tasks, the user doesn't need 50 emails.

This sounds like #310 which is ready for review so I'm going to close this as a Duplicate. (I've had the actual code running in production for a few years now).
