ChiliProject is not maintained anymore.
Please be advised that there will be no more updates.
We do not recommend that you setup new ChiliProject instances and
we urge all existing users to migrate their data to a maintained
system, e.g. Redmine. We will
provide a migration script later. In the meantime, you can use the
Setup demo server (Task #51)
We should need a 1-2GB Linux server to run the demo site. I prefer Debian/Ubuntu myself.
Task #102: ChiliProject.org - Add link/menu item to the Demo
- Target version set to Public Launch
Giving this to you as part of the infrastructure team. We can use moonshine on this too if you want.
- Assignee set to Muntek Singh
- Category set to ChiliProject - Organization
Proposing we setup the demo site after the launch. I don't think we will have it ready in time and it won't matter much since it's so similar to Redmine.
We should have it for 1.1.0 at the latest.
- Target version deleted (
If you need hosting for this I'd be happy to propose it.
Thanks, I think we have a server already and we just need to do the setup for it. Muntek will know.
Any progress with it? Please! :)
Sorry about the delay I will do the legwork today.
The demo is online and functional , though it still needs some content/love. Contact me on IRC for the needful.
- Status changed from Open to In Progress
It's done enough for now. Everything confirmed working and homepage has all the relevant data at this time.
- Status changed from In Progress to Closed
Current demo website @ http://demo.chiliproject.org returns a 503.
Was it decided to abandon maintenance of the demo website? Otherwise, who would be able to bring it back up (and possibly take care of it)?
