ChiliProject is not maintained anymore. Please be advised that there will be no more updates.

We do not recommend that you setup new ChiliProject instances and we urge all existing users to migrate their data to a maintained system, e.g. Redmine. We will provide a migration script later. In the meantime, you can use the instructions by Christian Daehn.

Mobile app ?

Added by Guillaume Bourque at 2011-11-17 08:09 pm

Hi,

I just learn that there is a very nice app for Iphone and redmine. I'm not a Iphone fan but the apps looks great and it does not work with ChiliProject.

From the app web site RedmineApp uses the official REST API inherent to your Redmine to access your account.

Anyone has talk with the peoples @ http://fnctions.com/ to have them port there apps for ChiliProject

The domain CHILIPROJECTAPP.COM is pointing to the same web so maybe it is already on the process.

Thanks

Salut Guillaume,

I know those guys and they've told me that as long as the differences aren't too big, they'd try to support both Redmine and ChiliProject. If you have a problem with your ChiliProject and RedmineApp, please tell them (or us and we'll see with them), but as far as I know it should work :-)

Salut Felix,

So it is not working right now for a coworker who use iphone 4 latest ios 5 and this apps, I have a ChiliProject installation 2.4 on ubuntu behind Stunnel for SSL and haproxy to dispatch the http trafic.

Could that make a difference since my ChiliProject server is not on the internet ?

Merci

Normally an internal installation shouldn't be a problem, is the SSL Cert self-signed? Can't remember if that didn't make a problem.

But as I said, the best course of action is to contact them directly, they're pretty reactive in my experience :-)

Merci

De rien !

For french non-speakers, the question is to know how to get an avatar on chiliproject.org. The answer: ChiliProject uses the Gravatar service that associates avatars to email addresses. To have a custom avatar on chiliproject.org, you have to go to Gravatar, sign up there with the same email address you use here and upload your custom avatar.

Hello Folks !

Sorry, I just saw that for the mobile app to work we need to activated or enable the REST API, for others like me who don't know about this API, you can enable it in the admin configuration pages under the authentification tab.

I will report back when the Iphone owner test how it work with ChiliProject 2.4.

Bye

Feel free to point the mobile app to my Open Source ChiliProject. It should work for anonymous users already. (Please don't edit any data though, this is a live site).

Hello Eric,

My Iphone user tested it and he see his project and can create subproject on my ChiliProject 2.4 installed.

I will report back with the other function when I can get the Iphone in my own hands.

One thing for sure the Iphnoe apps seem very sharp !

I have ask the dev if they will ported it to android and not for now.

Thanks,

Guillaume
